Bite Sized Entertainment
Video billboards require a different approach.
There's no audio, so the entire story has to play out as pure visual sequence. The look has to be catchy enough to stand out. And, because the viewers are just passing by, it has to provide real entertainment value in a hurry.
Working with animator Brent Chambers, a series of shorts were developed based on DDBO's "a clean mouth no matter what" campaign. Each told a humorous story and used a clean and fresh style that succeeded even against the visual clutter of Times Square.
